2nd Half School Supply Replenish Drive

Walker Sports Group realizes that often school supplies are diminished through the first half of the school year leaving a void for students and teachers.  Our efforts aim to bridge the gap between lack of resources and academic success​ by replenishing basic educational supplies.

Career Carnival

Participants will have opportunities to speak with community members employed from the 16 career clusters.  Career professionals will share their career journeys including their interest in their career field, education/training required, description of a typical day on the job, and any other advice they'd impart to students considering a career in their field.

College Awareness and Planning

College Preparation Research Education, and Planning (P.R.E.P.) is a Fall workshop series designed to inform students and families about the necessary steps to prepare for post-secondary education, the application/admission process, financial aid planning, and what to expect in college.  Our vision is to strengthen the college bound culture by supporting students and families with resources as they work towards on time high school graduation, prepare for post-secondary education/training, and secure a successful 21st century career.

College Campus Tours

Participants have the opportunity to visit campuses and experience post-secondary education lifestyles while evaluating their college options.
